I know this is my vinyl blog but since I also enjoy doing embroidery I thought I'd add some projects I've been doing lately for that as well. I do all custom embroidery. A friend of mine asked me to put some names on blankets for Christmas gifts. That was a lot of fun and they turned out wonderfully. She was very happy with them. And yes, there is some weird stuff under the name. That's the stabilizer. Some things need stabilizer on the top and the bottom. In this case there was too much fuzz to not put some stabilizer there. It's water soluable and will dissolve when it gets washed. Nobody will ever know it was there. Except for everyone since I just told you.
I am blessed to make the baby blankets for all the sisters in my church that have babies. This is one that I just finished. Doing names personalizes things and I always think they look nice when they're done, but adding a picture is my pride and joy. It's a lot of work to make the embroideries myself but the finished product always makes it worth it. I wish I would have taken better pictures of everything else I've made. Oh well.

Over the summer we discovered "Phineas and Ferb." We've really enjoyed watching it together. It's something that even mom and dad don't mind watching a little. This is what I came up with to mark the children's tablet, we have three with the same cases and needed to differentiate between them. We decided to put Agent P on the children's. I haven't decided yet what to put on mom's or dad's but I'll be sure and let you know when I get to that point. I had a lot of fun making this and think it turned out pretty nice.

As a mom t0 5 boys, this really warms my heart. My little boys are all good friends and spend most of their time with each other, outside of school that is. We aren't exactly cowboys, but we live in a small town and I still love this. It's another blank canvas, painted blue, with brown vinyl on top.
